"If I looked into a mirror and did not see my face, I should have the sort of feeling which
acutally comes upon me when I look into this living, busy world and see no reflection of
its Creator. What shall be said to this heart-piercing, reason-bewildering fact? I can only
answer that either there is no Creator or this living society of men is in a true sense
discarded from His presence. And so I argue about the world; if there be a God, since
there is a God, the human race is implicated in some terrible aboriginal calamity."
-Cardinal John Henry Newman, "The Position of My Mind Since 1845"

January 1st, 2009
Happy New Year to all of you! Thought I'd get 2009 started off by giving you an update on my whereabouts
and let you know what I've been up to. I'm still living in Black Mountain, NC as a member of the Electric
Ghost Collective. After a good tour with the full band up the East Coast in October, the collective is staying
busy these days working day jobs, writing songs, and performing whenever possible. We've started recording
Mallory Graham's new EP in our studio and hope to have that out sometime soon for you to hear. Best wishes
to you all in this new year.
August 22nd
I've made it to North Carolina and am settling into this quaint little town called
Black Mountain. Keep your eyes open for news from the Electric Ghost Collective as
I begin writing and performing with its members.
August 14th
I plan to make the move ‘cross country to Asheville North Carolina to join the
esteemed artist colony, the Electric Ghost Collective. These kind folks consist
of the friends I made while on Martha's Vineyard at the Contemporary Music Center.
More updates on the way
June 15th
I'm at home in Dinuba, CA, the former Raisin Capitol of the world, loading
trucks on the night crew at a cold storage, writing songs whenever I can and
currently reading Madeline L'Engle's Time Quartet.

May 27-June 2nd
Southern California Tour with Steve Carroll.
We played a number of shows throughout the larger LA area. Made no money, but had a good time. It was nice to see Steve, meet new people, have a drink in different bars, and learn to perform our songs better as the week went on.
May 24
I graduated from Biola. Thank God I'm done.
